Scripture Post #2,123: *MOSES WAS VERY MEEK*

 

Numbers 12:3:

“(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)”

Moses was the most meek man on the face of the earth. Moses’ siblings had a problem with GOD choosing him: “And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.” ~Numbers 12:2. Their distaste for GOD choosing Moses is the reason GOD did not choose them. Moses was unassuming. They were the opposite. GOD chooses the meek to use for His glory, not the haughty. 

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” ~Matthew 5:5. 

“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” ~Matthew 23:12.
