Scripture Post #2,111: *GOD’S TIME*

 

Numbers 9:22:

“Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.”

Can you imagine living in a tent that you’d have to pack up or pitch at any given moment? 2 days could pass by, or a month, or a year, and it’d be time to move and relocate. This is how life was for the nation of Israel. GOD had a cloud located directly above the Israelites. And when it would move to a different place, so would GOD’s people. But it wouldn’t move at a consistent pace. GOD moves on His time, not ours.
