Scripture Post #1,850: *FIGHT MY FIGHT*

 

Psalms 35:1:

"[[[A Psalm] of David.]] Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me."

"…Fight against them that fight against me." Here, David seeks the LORD to fight against those who fought against him. David was a man of war. And he had many enemies. Instead of sticking his chest out and facing his enemies head on, he sought the LORD's help. David was tough. He could do much on his own. But David was wise: he knew that GOD could do greater! Why not have extra help from a great and mighty GOD? 

*FIGHT MY FIGHT*, LORD!
