Scripture Post #1,251: *PURIFIED*

1st John 3:

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

We purify ourselves by having hope. Hope that we'll see CHRIST as He is in Heaven, when we're in Heaven with Him. Hope that "…when he shall appear, we shall be like him…" (as 1st John 3:2 puts it). 

CHRIST is pure and we are purified through our hope in Him!
