Scripture Post #1,249: *BEHOLD GOD'S LOVE*

1st John 3:1: 

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."

Behold the spectacular manner of love the Father has for us, that He would call us His children! The world doesn't know us. The world (non-Christians) shouldn't know us, nor we the world. Because the world doesn't know GOD. We may enjoy the company of those who have differing beliefs than our own, however, our enjoyment can go but so far. That's what this Scripture means by "know." No one should know you in the same manner GOD and His people know you.
