1st Peter 3:18:

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"

JESUS CHRIST, the just, suffered and died for the sins of us, the former unjust. CHRIST did this to *BRING US TO GOD*. We couldn't just approach GOD in our former state of sin. We had to get cleaned up first. We had to be forgiven. We had to be free from what held us. Free from the bondage of the fleshly lusts we un-hesitantly obeyed. We had to die to the lie of who we were to live by the truth of who we are. We had to have JESUS bring us to GOD! Hallelujah! We couldn't just come in our own. Thank You, JESUS for bringing me to GOD!
