1st Peter 3:6:
"Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement."

This Scripture can be read and deemed offensive and unattractive to many women of today. But this very Scripture, if read 100 years ago, would be far less unattractive to the women of that time. Homosexuality was deemed offensive and unattractive by the masses 100 years ago, and look at where we are now? Perhaps pedophilia will be overlooked within the next 100 years; does time *really* have the final say? Or is GOD's Word the way—regardless of time and what men regulate as the norm here on earth? Obedience isn't a bad word. And Sarah was exceedingly happier with her husband, Abraham, than any women is who assumes the domineering role in her relationship with her spouse. Women today *wish* they had an Abraham to call their husband. The role of the husband isn't to rule over the wife with an absolute dominance. However, GOD saw to it that Abraham and Sarah had a blessed marriage, under Abraham's leadership. Which was ultimately under GOD's leadership.
"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." ~1 Corinthians 11:3.
