Scripture Post #1,887: *GOD ONLY*

Exodus 22:20:

“He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.”

Ex. 22:20 states an Old Testament Law. GOD’s people should serve *GOD ONLY*. You’d lose your life for this, then. You’ll lose your salvation for it, now. 

Ex. 20:3: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

V. 4: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”

V. 5: “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”

V. 6: “And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

Today, there’s one way — His name is JESUS:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” ~John 14:6.
