Context:
Acts 17:1: "Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:"
V. 2: "And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,"
V. 3: "Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ."
V. 4: "And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few."
It can be a bit scary telling people about JESUS. Not knowing if folks'll be offended. The fear of not being understood. The fear of not knowing what to say. These things can be intimidating. However, they'll be no intimidation if you take Paul's approach. Paul showed evidence, within Scripture, proving CHRIST's validity. With proof and evidence comes confidence and assurance. You'll know what you're talking about because the evidence is right before you. And you may not convert everyone every time, but some'll believe.
