Scripture Post #870: *A FAITHFUL SAYING*

2nd Timothy 2:

11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 

12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, unto Timothy, his son in the faith (1st Tim. 1:1-2).

To me, each verse gets better and better, one after the other. And verse 13 is my favorite. Because it states that if we don't believe, and GOD lives ("abides"), HE cannot deny HIMSELF. Meaning: GOD's existence has nothing to do with us, and everything to do with *truth*. HE won't deny truth just because others do. 

"Truth is truth, whether you participate in it or not."
