Scripture Post #778: *THE LORD IS FAITHFUL*

2nd Thessalonians 3:3: "But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the Church of the Thessalonians (2nd Thess. 1:1).

The LORD will keep you from evil…if you allow HIM to. Sin is a choice; it is not inevitable. *THE LORD IS FAITHFUL*, not only to save you from that which is evil, but to keep you from evil as well. 

The LORD is faithful:

Deu. 7:9: "Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;"

1st Thess. 5:24: "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."

1st John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
