Scripture Post #356: *SPIRITUAL WARFARE*
2nd Corinthians 10:
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timothy, unto the Church at Corinth (2nd Cor. 1:1-2).
2nd Corinthians 10:3-5
Easy-to-Read Version (ERV):
V. 3: "We live in this world, but we don’t fight our battles in the same way the world does."
V. 4: "The weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments,"
V. 5: "and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ."
You don't have to suffer/struggle with thoughts that displease GOD—you can, bring "into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ".
