Scripture Post #1,300: *LUST OF UNCLEANNESS*
2nd Peter 2:10:
"But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities."

Those walking after the flesh, in the *LUST OF UNCLEANNESS*, are walking down a path of calamity. The flesh is the sin within. We aren't subject to the flesh. But if the flesh has its way and brings forth the lust of unclean things (dirty, filthy sins), then our minds become dirty and our reason becomes clouded with foolishness. That lust we've harbored, can alter our behavior, drastically, causing us to despise government, become dangerously presumptuous, selfwilled vs GODwilled, and bold to speak evil of dignity (that which is good and honorable). When people speak evil of the dignified stance you have in CHRIST, it's because their flesh has taken them captive, their brainwaves have been altered, and their reason polluted. They can't help but to see your good as bad. Their flesh has taken over.
We must realize when those around us are in the flesh. This'll bring us great understanding when it comes to how we're treated in those times of opposition.
