Scripture Post #1,252: *HAPPY ARE YE*

1st Peter 4:14: 

"If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified."

To be reproached (disapproved of) by the world (those unsubscribed to CHRIST) is a good thing. A really good thing. (How much sense does it make to be approved of by those who disapprove of the GOD we serve?) We should be happy when we're reproached by the world. Reproached by those who speak evil of the One we take glory in. We can be happy because when we are reproached, the Spirit of Glory and of GOD rests upon us.
