Scripture Post #1,250: *THINK IT NOT STRANGE*

1st Peter 4:

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Sometimes in life, it can feel very strange and confusing when bad things come our way: A loss of a job, property repossession, lost loved ones, abuse, neglect, false accusations, et cetera, et cetera. Howbeit, we can have joy! We can rejoice in the face of trouble! Because this makes us partakers of CHRIST's sufferings! We're in this thing together—which makes our sufferings not strange at all. When CHRIST's glory is revealed, we'll have exceeding joy in knowing that just as CHRIST faced fiery trials and overcame being tried, we too will be made all the better in the end! 

Walk through the trying process of discomfort. Exit, being made 10 times better than the man who first entered.
