Scripture Post #1,214: *WINNING THROUGH SUBJECTION*

1st Peter 3:1: 

"Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;"

Those who obey not the Word (sinners), may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives who are in subjection to their own husbands. That's what this Scripture means. 

Our conversation with sinners can convert them over into Christianity, even if the Word of GOD is unavailable. As far as the Christian wife goes, this can only take place for the wife who honors her husband by being in subjection to him (basically allowing him to lead as head of the family). It is not GOD's order for a wife to rule her husband. That's Jezebel. That's twisted. That's wrong. What kind of woman wants to lead her husband, anyhow? What woman wants to marry a weak and sorry husband? The world can say what it wants—GOD's Word will always have the final say.
