Scripture Post #1,838: *GOD AGAINST EVIL*

Psalms 34:16:

"The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth."

The LORD is against evil. Period. So if you want GOD with you, don't do evil. GOD cannot be where evil is. When His Son, Jesus Christ, became sin on the cross, GOD forsook Him. GOD will leave you if evil is present. Because GOD doesn't do evil. 

("For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 

~2nd Corinthians 5:21. 

"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" 

~Mark 15:34.)
