Scripture Post #1,843: *AMNESIA?*

Exodus 17:7:

"And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?"

The children of Israel tempted the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us, or not?" They thirsted and forgot GOD. They were living in the present. And the present situation said, "GOD's not here. If He were, there'd be water in my tummy." People of faith wait out the storm. For they know it'll pass. They know GOD is there. They don't suffer from *AMNESIA*. They *remember* the sea that GOD parted for them in their lives!
