Scripture Post #953: *THE LORD'S ADDITION*

Acts 2:47: 

"Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

This Scripture states that the LORD added members to the Church of the Apostles of CHRIST (these being the very 1st Apostles there ever were, making this the first Church there ever was, after CHRIST's Crucifixion). I don't want members in my Church that the LORD didn't add. I don't want to fill up the seats in the Sanctuary by any means necessary. I don't want to reach the world my way; I want to win the world GOD's way. If it doesn't have the GOD stamp of approval, then it shouldn't be done. The LORD added to the Church daily in the years of the early day Church—HE can add to the Church daily, today! We don't need to stoop to the world's level to reach some souls.
