Scripture Post #872: *APPROVED*

2nd Timothy 2:15: "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, unto Timothy, his son in the faith (1st Tim. 1:1-2).

It is important to be *APPROVED* unto GOD after 1st studying and doing proper homework. There is no shame in rightly dividing the Word of truth. Many so called, "Minister of the Faith" aren't studying to show themselves approved unto GOD. You see, you can't just stand before GOD's people and preach the Gospel without first being *approved* unto GOD. I've heard many tickling-of-the-ear-trolli-sour-brite-candy-coated messages from many people claiming to have a "Word from the Lord". But everything that sounds and tastes good, isn't always good for you. Make absolutely certain that what you're receiving is *proven* to be *good*. 

1st Thess. 5:21: "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
