Scripture Post #869: *THE WORLD HATES YOU*

John 15:

18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

If you are a Christian it is imperative for you to know that *THE WORLD HATES YOU*. And that the world is *supposed* to hate you. And that you aren't *supposed* to love the world. And that you don't have GOD's love within you if you love the world. (1st John 2:15: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.") Why? Because all that is in the word is of Satan (1st John 2:16: "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."), who is in charge of this evil world. (2nd Cor. 4:4: "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.")

If the world hates you, you're doin' right by GOD. For it was HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, WHO was first hated by this wicked world.
