Scripture Post #809: *DARKNESS NO MORE*

John 12:46: "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness."

It's true that we can walk in light as HE (GOD) is in the light. (1st John 1:7: "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.") JESUS is more than just a "Rescue Guy": someone you go to when you need to be washed and forgiven. JESUS came not only to forgive you of your sins, but to free you from your sins! (Rom. 6:7: "For he that is dead is freed from sin.") Our days of walking in darkness can cease, because JESUS has become the light that frees us. What good is CHRIST's light to the believer who continues in darkness? Receive of CHRIST's light and walk in *DARKNESS NO MORE*.
