John 12:

44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 

45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

JESUS grants *ACCESS TO THE FATHER*. When you believe on JESUS, you're actually believing on the FATHER. When you see JESUS, you're seeing the FATHER. 

JESUS is the only way to the FATHER.  

John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
