Scripture Post #780: *BROTHER WITHDRAWAL*

2nd Thessalonians 3:6: "Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us."

Disclaimer: The image used for this Scripture Post, in its original form, was from an image search engine. It is not an image of my own.

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul, Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the Church of the Thessalonians (2nd Thess. 1:1).

This Scripture states to withdraw from those in the faith (Brothers/Sisters in CHRIST) who walk disorderly, and not after the ways they've been taught in CHRIST. A little leaven leavens the whole lump—Apostle Paul explains this in Galatians 5:7-10,12.
Gal. 5:7: "Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?"
V. 8: "This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you."
V. 9: "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."
V. 10: "I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be."
V. 12: "I would they were even cut off which trouble you."

Those Christians who refuse to uphold the holy standards of the Bible should be cut off from among you. They are stumbling blocks, tempting your flesh to fall.
Rom. 14:13: "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way."
