Scripture Post #771: *I TOLD YOU*

John 10:

24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

The Jews approached JESUS demanding to be told if HE was the CHRIST or not. But the thing is, it was *obvious* that JESUS was the CHRIST!! HIS works proved that! JESUS performed miracle after miracle, work after work, sign after sign, and wonder after wonder, directly in front of the Jews, and they *still* wouldn't believe! JESUS said to them: *I TOLD YOU*. JESUS is still telling us that HE is LORD, even today. But are we listening? A lesson can be learned here: are we ignoring the *obvious* signs of GOD? How many times does the Hand of GOD have to reach from Heaven, enter earth and rescue you, before you trust and believe HIM? What must CHRIST do to prove HIS validity? Has HE not already done enough? Why are we playing games? Have we not had 1st hand experience that GOD is good? Or are our tongues numb to the good taste of the LORD? (Ps. 34:8: "O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.") Romans 1:18-20 makes it plain, stating that the invisible GOD can be clearly seen by HIS *works* that are so evidently before us. 

Rom 1:18: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;"

V. 19: "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them."

V. 20: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
