Scripture Post #690: *SERVANTHOOD*
Colossians 3:22: "Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:"

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Timotheus, to the Saints of Colosse (Col. 1:1-2).
True *SERVANTHOOD* is within a person, only to be brought out of a person. A person who serves with the servanthood-mindset doesn't just serve when people are looking, to be seen and appreciated of men. A servant with the servanthood-mindset isn't a man pleaser either (only serving to please men when it should be done in the fear of GOD).
JESUS was and is the greatest of all, yet humbled himself in true servanthood:
Luke 22:26: "But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve."
V. 27: "For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth."
True servants of the LORD are blessed(!):
Luke 12:37: "Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."
JESUS did this(!!):
John 13:5: "After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded."
