Scripture Post #563: *GREATER DAMNATION*

Luke 20:

46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

Pride, desiring to be seen, being needy for attention, being desperate for fame—these things don't go unpunished, or overlooked by the LORD. This type of behavior had the Scribes (and those like them) to receive *GREATER DAMNATION*—a worse judgement than the torture of Hell. 

It's not about being seen of men, or having man know your name, but rather, that GOD sees and knows who you are.
