This Scripture was from Apostle Paul to the Saints of Ephesus (Eph. 1:1).

Darkness represents a disconnect from GOD. GOD is Light, and in him can be no darkness whatsoever. (1st John 1:5: "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.") Those who are GOD's reflect HIM. For what child is there that doesn't resemble their parent(s). GOD is Light; which makes us light, too, if we're HIS and are connected to HIM. Those who are disconnected from GOD are blind by Satan's darkness, and carry themselves in such manner. (2nd Cor. 4:4: "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.") Below are 10 Scriptures concerning light and darkness. These Scriptures explain how our Christian-conversion is from *DARKNESS TO LIGHT*. They also explain how we being children of light, no longer conduct ourselves as children of darkness.
