Scripture Post #512: *GROW INTO CHRIST*

Ephesians 4:15: "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul to the Saints of Ephesus (Eph. 1:1).

We as Believers *GROW INTO CHRIST*. Meaning: we grow from glory to glory, from one step to the next, becoming more and more CHRIST-like. It's like looking in a "glass" (mirror) and seeing the LORD. And being changed into the image of the glass-mirror—being changed into resembling the LORD. 

2nd Cor. 3:18: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."

JESUS is perfect. And for us to resemble HIM, we must "…go on unto perfection…" As stated in Heb. 6:1. 

Heb. 5:12: "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat."

V. 13: "For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe."

V. 14: "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

Heb. 6:1: "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,"

"…Strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age…" "[Echo:] …Full age…" Becoming "full age" means that we've *GROWN INTO CHRIST*. We've gone "from glory to glory". We've gone from "milk" to "meat". We've gone "on unto perfection"! This is a growing process, though. A babe in CHRIST needing milk, is not ready for grown-up-strong-meat. 

As we grow, we become more and more like CHRIST. We *GROW INTO CHRIST*!
