Scripture Post #506: *FROM HELL TO HEAVEN*

Ephesians 4:

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

This Scripture was from Apostle Paul to the Saints of Ephesus (Eph. 1:1).

Matt. 12:40: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

JESUS truly is the CHRIST—the only way to Heaven—the only way to everlasting life. Check it out. Eph. 4:8-10 and Mat. 12:40 explain so much. All who died before JESUS died, went to Hell. And if JESUS never died, we'd all die and go to Hell, too. JESUS died, went to Hell, freed all those chosen by GOD who were bound in Hell, and ascended into Heaven with those captives HE set free. 

Matt. 27:52: "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,"

V. 53: "And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."

Just as all those before CHRIST's death needed HIM in order to access Heaven, all those after HIS death need HIM also. Making the entire human race dependent upon JESUS to gain Heaven. If you're not in CHRIST you're going to Hell. Plain and simple. There are not many paths. There are not many doors. There are not many ways. These are lies of men that need to be extinguished—extinguished by the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD! Doctrines of men are lies that lead to Hell. 

Rom. 3:4: "…Let God be true, but every man a liar…"

Eph. 4:14: "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;"

V. 15: "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

JESUS is the only way! All other religions, all other beliefs, all other philosophies, any other way will lead to death and destruction. CHRIST's life is eternal life. This means you cannot have eternal life apart from CHRIST. All who have eternal life have CHRIST's life. Because the 2 are one in the same!

1st John 5:11: "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."

1st. John 5:20: "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

Can't get to GOD without 1st contacting JESUS. 

John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
