Scripture Post #264: *YOU'RE IMPORTANT*

1st Corinthians 12:

15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

Context: This Scripture was from Apostle Paul and Sosthenes, unto the Church at Corinth (1st Cor. 1:1-2).

You are important to the Body of CHRIST! Just because you're not a Minister, Elder, Deacon, or Administrator, doesn't diminish your part in the Body! Just as the ear isn't diminished because it can't see. Your Spiritual gift may seem less significant to someone else's. But get this: they don't have what GOD gave you, and you don't have what GOD gave them. If we'd all link up, forming 1 component (Body), we'd have all the Spiritual gifts. Not just 1! You are absolutely necessary to the Body! (1st Cor. 12:22: "Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:")
