Scripture Post #2,126: *RIGHTEOUS BE GLAD*

 

Psalms 68:3: 

“But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.”

Be glad for crying out loud! GOD has forgiven you and made you righteous. (“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. ~2nd Corinthians 5:21.) And the righteous are supposed to be glad! The righteous rejoice; and do so excessively: “…Let them exceedingly rejoice.” The righteous aren’t sad, sorrowful, depressed or blue. The righteous rejoice; and have every reason to. The righteous are undeservingly forgiven. They’ve been given a life of exceeding joy that they in no wise deserve. So participate in this joy that GOD has given you. You’re not your sin. You’re not your shame. You’re not your past. You are forgiven. You are righteous. You are exceedingly joyful! And it’s righteous for GOD’s righteous to be glad. *RIGHTEOUS BE GLAD*
