Scripture Post #2,090: *KURT’Z PSALM*
Psalms 61:8:
“So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.”
Psalms 61:8 is a psalm of David that I take personally. A psalm I’ve made to be my own. It speaks directly to me. It’s as if I wrote it myself. 12 years ago I vowed to GOD that if He’d clear up my eye-sight and eradicate my pain, I’d become completely devoted to Him. This vow is a vital contributor to what I do every single day: Post Scripture! So when David says,“…That I may daily perform my vows.” I cry on the inside. Because every day. Every single day. I’m performing my vows to the LORD Who loves me! Just as David did. And when David says, “So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever…” it gets to me. I will ever sing praises unto my KING! Because He healed me! He granted my petition. He graced me by putting His great power on display!
