Scripture Post #1,985: *LEPROSY CLEANSING PROCESS*
Leviticus 14:9:
“But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.”
Levitical law states a series of steps required to be taken to ensure a leper was officially cleansed and rid of leprosy. One of the necessary steps that I found to be interesting, was hair removal. Before a leper was pronounced clean, he had to shave all the hair off of his head and face — including his eyebrows.
