Scripture Post #1,931: *SIN’S CONSEQUENCE*

Exodus 32:33:

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Although an Old Testament Scripture, Ex. 32:33 has its value, even today. GOD never approves of sin — regardless of Old or New Testament. GOD hates sin. It’s so unlike Him. He’s a holy GOD. So why partake in something so unlike the GOD we claim to serve?

The sting of *SIN’S CONSEQUENCE*, whether it be our names erased from GOD’s Book, or us missing out on the goodness He has for us, is to cause us to desire to cease from sinning. When we experience what sin has to offer vs. what living apart from sin has to offer, it’s a no-brained which is best.

Sin is optional; not inevitable.
