Scripture Post #1,744: *I WILL EXTOL THEE*

 

Psalms 30:1:

"[[A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.]] I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me."

King David extolled the LORD because the LORD promoted him and did not allow his enemies to outdo him and excel beyond where the LORD had placed him.
