Scripture Post #1,664: *I AM A WORM*

 

Psalms 22:

6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 

7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 

8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 

David, the writer of this psalm, referred to himself as a worm. That's how low he felt after people looked down on him because of his trust in GOD. 

GOD will have you looking all kinds of crazy sometimes. Just hold fast to what you know the two of you have already worked out. And soon enough, what GOD brings to you will silence the laughter of foolishness.
