Scripture Post #1,640: *GREAT REWARD*

Psalms 19:

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 

8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteousaltogether. 

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there isgreat reward.

"What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." ~Romans 7:7. 

"Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good." ~Romans 7:12. 

GOD rewards obedience. There lies great reward for those who abide by His laws and commandments. The laws of GOD are fulfilled in CHRIST. We obtain CHRIST, we obtain observance of the law. 

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." ~Galatians 5:14.
