Scripture Post #1,569: *ROMANCE IN THE BIBLE*

   

Genesis 29:20:

"And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her."

In Genesis 29, there's a romantic passage about Jacob and Rachel. 

Jacob found a women that he loved so much, that he worked, willingly, for seven years for her. These years felt like days to him because of the love he had for her. Turns out, it actually wound up taking 14 years for him to marry the woman of his dreams. But he didn't mind. He was in love.
