Scripture Post #1,535: *2 NATIONS IN THY WOMB*

Genesis 25:

22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.

23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

Rebekah was a barren woman. Her husband, Isaac prayed intensely to GOD and Rebekah miraculously conceived. The babies struggled together within her, and she said, "If I'm meant to conceive, why is this so?" And she went to enquire of the LORD. And the LORD said unto her, "Two nations are in thy womb…" 2 Nations. 2 Nations. Not, 2 great men. Not, 2 men that represent Nations. Not, 2 babies. No! 2 Nations! The fullness of the entire Israelite tribe, the holy Nation that produced JESUS CHRIST, the Lion Of Judah. And the fullness of the Edomite tribe, the mighty warriors of old. Both Jacob (Israel) & Esau (Edom) were within Rebekah! *2 NATIONS IN THY WOMB*. She felt a struggle within her tummy that was symbolic to these future warring Nations! Wow!
