Scripture Post #1,410: *MIRACULOUS DECEPTION*

Revelation 13:

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Rev. 13:11: "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

V. 12: "And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."

V. 13: "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,"

V. 14: "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."

There are those like Satan who's objective is deception. There will be signs, wonders and miracles done by way of the Devil. This is why the Church must be moved by faith and not by signs, wonders & miracles. I'm not moved by the lame walking, the deaf hearing, the mute speaking, or the dead rising. I am moved by faith and faith alone in JESUS CHRIST. Miracles don't prove GOD. False-miracles, false-tongues—these things happen often in the Church. It's a *MIRACULOUS DECEPTION*. GOD works miracles. But remember: Satan does also!

"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." ~2nd Corinthians 11:14. 

"Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." ~2 Corinthians 11:15. 

"The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going." ~Proverbs 14:15. 

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." ~1st John 4:1. 

"But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:" ~Matthew 12:39. 

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." ~John 20:29.
