Scripture Post #1,350: *HATE WHAT HE HATES*
Revelation 2:6:
"But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate."

JESUS told John the Apostle to write to the Church of Ephesus of the 7 Churches found in the Book of Revelation. (JESUS said to the Apostle John: Rev. 2:1: "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write…")
JESUS was basically saying to the Church of Ephesus, that they've done well by hating the deeds or sins of the Nicolaitanes.
If there are people we know that participate in sin, we should hate their sin because JESUS does. (Hate the sin; love the sinner.) JESUS judged 7 Churches in the book of Revelation. And He wasn't at all pleased about it either. He had eyes of a flame of fire when He judged these Churches (Rev. 1:14: "…his eyes were as a flame of fire…"). Because He was angry by their actions. Angered by their sin. GOD has grace to forgive our sins; however, sin still displeases GOD.
