Scripture Post #1,343: *SKY BETWEEN THE WATERS*

Genesis 1:
6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

GOD created earth in 6 days and rested on the seventh—the Sabbath. (Genesis 2:2: "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made."
Verse 3: "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.") On day 2 of GOD's marvelous creation, He made sky and water (oceans). He spoke it into existence. The earth's climate was much different then than it is now. There was *SKY BETWEEN THE WATERS* when GOD originally created the earth. There was the ocean, the sky, and above the sky was even more water! Theologians believe that the excessive water made way for much more oxygen than we have on earth, today. With there being more oxygen, people lived up to 10 times longer than those who die of old age, today! (Gen. 5:5: "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.")
