Scripture Post #1,225: *TRUE LIGHT*

1st John 2:8: 

"Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth."

GOD's *TRUE LIGHT* has shone upon us in our state of sin and darkness. And His light has reproved (corrected) our darkness. We slept in darkness, making our beds in sin. But now, CHRIST has given us light to wake us from the darkness we were once in. The darkness has passed; GOD's true light has come. We've been disturbed out of our comfy beds of sin and death. We're awake now. Now, we live!

Eph. 5:13: "But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light."

V. 14: "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."
