Scripture Post #1,186: *TASTE OF HIS GRACIOUSNESS*

1st Peter 2:

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Have you tasted of His graciousness? 

GOD's graciousness is what first attracts the Believer. Once we *TASTE OF HIS GRACIOUSNESS* for the very first time, we desire more of Him, immediately. As newborn (baby-) Believers, we desire the sincere milk of the word, that we may grow thereby. "Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings…" Being born again comes with the *sincere* desire of laying aside these things and doing better. We should want to do better. Better than how we've been in our pasts, apart from CHRIST.
