Scripture Post #1,798: *PLAY SKILLFULLY*

Psalms 33:3:

"Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise."

Good Godly music is performed skillfully. When we praise the LORD, we aren't praising Him to just any old song. Our music sounds good! It's composed by talented, hardworking, GOD-loving people. The writer of this psalm states: "Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully…" We want GOD to have our very best. And as time goes by, we'd like to honor Him with fresh, new, skillfully composed music. Not the same songs over and over again. We're constantly pushing our praise to a higher level — we love the LORD!
