Acts 26:31:

"And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds."

The Apostle Paul was on trial and in bonds for preaching the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. And the Government of that time saw nothing wrong with him teaching! The ones that had the problem with Paul, were the same ones that had a problem with JESUS: the traditional, hypocritical, devilish, Pharisees!! The Government believed in Paul's innocence so much, that it almost became Christian. Paul explained his testimony, which gave clarity as to why he did what he did. After Paul's ministry was clearly understood, the Government recognized the innocence of Paul.
