Context:
Acts 19:8: "And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God."
V. 9: "But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus."
V. 10: "And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."
*PAUL SPAKE BOLDY* when "…disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God." If we're not confidant and bold about JESUS than those around us won't want what we have. We can't be confused or uncertain about where we stand as Believers. Because of Paul's boldness "…all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."
Why be a Christian and not desire everyone you know saved with you? Being bold about JESUS doesn't mean forcing the Gospel on people. Being bold for JESUS means you take GOD seriously. This brings people to CHRIST. Our passion.
