Don't spectate. Participate. Don't hear only. Do also. Studying the rules of the road is good for getting a driver's license. But studying without actually ever getting behind the wheel makes studying for the license good for nothing! Hearing Bible while never applying it is good for nothing. You'll never experience the pleasurable blessings Scripture contains if you don't do what Scripture says. People say the Bible doesn't work. They've heard Scripture all their lives and think its good for nothing; because they never see anything. They never see anything happen. Well, you'll never see the words of the Bible manifest themselves in your life by only looking at them on paper. You must hear and do. Doing is what turns the Bible into a Pop-Up-Book—making what's read on paper pop up into your actual life!
Man's refusal to work the Word, doesn't refute the Word from working.
