Scripture Post #1,086: *MADE PERFECT*
Hebrews 13:
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Nobody's born perfect. And no one's lived a completely perfect life. Man must be *MADE PERFECT* by GOD. This is the only way perfection is attained. It comes from GOD. When CHRIST mentioned Perfection in the Book of Matthew, HE directed perfection towards the FATHER: Matt. 5:48: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." To be as GOD is, is to be perfect. For GOD is perfect. We fear perfection because we think we're flawed. Which we are. That is until we allow CHRIST in our lives. How is it that a perfect GOD sends HIS perfect SON to rebirth, restore, renew, redeem, reestablish and remake HIS once sinful creation, and yet we still continue to believe we're dirty sinners? Hebrews 13 states we've been made perfect. Our perfection isn't self-righteousness. It's CHRIST's righteousness. CHRIST making us righteous. The reason we don't live in perfection is because we don't believe we can. And the reason we don't believe we can is because we don't know that GOD has made us perfect. It's like having a million dollars in the bank and not knowing it. Without knowledge of who you are and what you have, you'll live life less than your best. Less than GOD's best for you.
